hey! :)

hope everybody had an awesome week! we have the mid-year holiday in SA at the moment, so that's way cool, having a ton of fun chilling with my friends and getting some practice time in behind the kit :)

Before i get too happy and excited again, the big news the past week has obviously been that of Michael Jackson's untimely death. all tasteless jokes and lack of tact aside, the death of ANY human being should be met with respect; i think. it really got me upset to hear the jokes people were making only moments after the news struck. i take myself to have a healthy sense of humour, but i can't help but feel sick to my stomach at jokes being made about somebody who just lost his life. MJ might have done some questionable stuff in his life (don't we all?) and remembering him and judging him because of the wrong stuff he did is a fate i dont wish upon ANY person. that said, as a musician it is irrefutable what a permanent impact he made on the world-wide ...

Hey everybody,

I promise this one will be shorter than the previous mini-novel of a blog post I typed up :) I checked the new website design out again a day or so ago, it's in the process of making it into the final form and it's honestly one of the friggin coolest stuff ever that I’ve (literally!) had my name on :) SO darn stoked to get it up and running and hearing what you guys think! TONNNNS of new features, one of which will DEFINITELY blow your mind.. I still can't believe it's happening. You'll definitely see it though, soon enough :)

greeeeeeetings!

There has been so much stuff going on over here that I honestly have nooooo idea where to start.. Should probably start by thanking you for reading these rambling thoughts :) and how have you been? (with a little imagination we can have an almost-conversation) I've been crazy busy but I'm probably the happiest I've ever been; working on the DVD pretty much full time (if not physically.. then I keep thinking about new ideas) so that's like the most satisfying thing ever. LOVING it :) Been drumming latetly?

I have.. ooohhhh yes :) You might see some footage of that in a while, set to a nice white background ;)

I'd also like to update you guys a little to what's been going on behind the scenes. I've started to work with SMG here in South Africa, GREATTTT guys, they'll be helping out with some graphics and design work, aswell as with the distribution of the DVD. Hello everybody! It's been quite some time since the last update on the site. Both me and Cobus are still very happy to see you are coming here for videos and posting comments. I hope everyone has seen the video Cobus posted a few days ago about his TV appearance? If not, make sure to check out Cobus youtube channel right away.

Anyway, as you might know big things are happening. The DVD and a very myserious series is arising. To make this site more interesting I want to know what you guys want on this page! Booya!

Hope everybody is doing unnaturally well, sorry for the lack of updates recently! As some of you know, the DVD section is up and running. If you havn't heard, please check out this video:

Like I said, things have been quite hectic this side. The coolest news (except for the DVD, hehe) is that i'm about to have two TV appearances in the next couple of weeks, which has already been recorded, and was soooooo much fun!! I can't even describe.. was INTENSE.

I'll upload the segments as soon as their aired (with subtitles, obviously), so you guys can see me nervously trying to look ok-ish on TV ;)

To spice up this weekend Cobus released two new videos: Inslowmotion: Better Part of Me and Angels and Airwaves Love like Rockets. Better Part of me is available on the site but sadly the Angels and Airwaves company tagged the video and are now deciding where it should be shown and therefore not everyone (including me) cannot view the video. We have to wait for the high quality video and mp3 is available!
