My name is Cobus Potgieter, I am from South Africa and currently I’m 22 years old. Afrikaans is my main language and English my secondary, so please excuse poor language usage wherever it pops up :) I play the drums (for almost 6 years now) and I absolutely love it. Constant repetition and rhythm define who I am to quite a great extent. (I hope?) I’m a friendly guy and I try to be decent human being :)

I hate calling myself a Christian because of all the labels attached to it, but I love saying that I cannot live without my relationship with God. I didn’t have any choice about being able to drum, I was born with it and it’s something I am endlessly blessed with, you can’t shape a diamond if you don’t have one :) so.. Laus Deo Semper.

Furthermore I can say I am probably one the most passionate people you will ever meet. I try to live with my eyes open and I try to do what makes me truly happy. I have a hard time NOT doing and completing things I am passionate about at 100% (that’s why I put so much effort into my YouTube video’s..)

I think that’s pretty much it, describing myself has never been one of my strong points.. Anyway, thanks for stopping by :)
