September 09: competition time!

booooooooya! :)

gonna keep this blog post short and sweet.. got a TONNN of work to get back to! but it's all good, definitely enjoying it.

anyways. i hope you guys are doing gooooood! i don't know if you heard the theories about today being the last day of the world? ie that today is like doomsday or something.. anyways. it's 15 minutes to 8 at night in SA, and we're still here. i guess it's already "tomorrow" in Australia, and they're still there. so nothing to worry about. just thought i'd set you guys at ease.

i've got some pretty big news! :) we're holding this way cool competition, and you can win a pair of sticks that i used while recording the DVD (with little dents and chips in them..) aswell as the snare skin from the recording of the MJ tribute series, yeah! check out the new VIDEO on YouTube for all the details, or just check it out below:

Hi Cobus! I'm a big fan;) all the videos I used to watch every day:) when I saw that it drummed .... Alam szerint.Te the case so it is a special drummer or that you kistertel off the drum sound very interesting but very coool:)
I also played drums and that dream that he as you are able to monitor music:) It does not matter because tegezlek? :) If you see a product you can .... asking a lot but the pen would be the first to ask a very big pen for autographs:) to remember the day when I met you:) I am a Romanian boy:) Thanks for your read this little commented a lot and I hope that many fogol traced the message, with a special dobodal

WWooooWWW i dont know what to say man you inspire me i always post your stuff on my facebook to all my friends i play drumms all the time but i cant seem to get anymore relaxed to get my fills and stuff faster if you could help me with some information to relax soo i can step up my drumming i would love to hear it thnx i love drumming its my world i trying to step up but i just cant seem to do it getting really frustrated with it you are a big infulence on me ur style is unreal man well i hope everything goes well for you man l8er

You are an amazing man! I probably check your site once or twice a day, lol. It is so refreshing to see someone have such a good time at doing something they love. I pray to God one day I'll have a fraction of the talent you do. Anyway, keep up the good work buddy!

FYI, I'm a Southern Rock/Metal kind of guy and I'd have to say my favorite cover is "Burnin' Up" by The Jonas Brothers.

Just currently stumbled onto your videos while researching how to play a Hillsong tune and was blessed to see that God could use you so powerfully through music and the gift He has given you. I play drums too, but with an intense amount of pain. I have carpel tunnel in both of my wrists and have given up drumming three times since I have been injured. I recently started playing again and thats when I saw your videos. All that to say that you should never give up something that you are so fortunate to have. Your time behind the kit has been short compared to most and you make things seem effortless. Keep it up! If for nothing else do it for guys like me who can never reach there full potential.

Hi Cobus! I'm pretty sure that i'm your biggest fan, but there may be others... I think that it's soooo cool that you live in SA. I thought you'd live elsewhere tho because i thought that your accent didn't sound african. anyways, i want to see your DVD but i don't know if i can access it.
