ahooooooy people of internet land!

I am BEYOND tired. It's almost 6am in South Africa, and I was up all night finishing the next VLOG video. With that said, keep in mind that I'm functioning on half of my braincells.. and there wasn't a lot top begin with. So if some sentences make ZERO sense.. you know why :)

First things first! NEW VLOG! :)



The Video Response compo for Vlog #2 went insaaaaaaanely well! Can NOT believe the response, got some INSANE videos! Seriously struggling to choose a winner.. be sure to rate and comment on the ones you guys dig the most, that will obviously influence the choice of the winner in a huge way. I laughed SO hard at a few of those vids, haha :)

Other HUGE news, obviously, is that pre-orders are opening INSANELY soon, matter of hours left! :) Can NOT tell you guys how stoked I am. We've been working increeeeedibly hard on this project to give you the best and most comprehensive product possible, so I can. not. WAITTTT to see what the reaction is like. Be sure to keep an eye on the forums, as Jason will be creating an exclusive thread devoted to questions about ordering, payment, shipment.. all that stuff.

Also, as mentioned in Vlog III, actual RELEASE date for the DVD is going to be on the 29th of October, 2009. The reason for this sizeable gap, is because I still need to add the names of the first 200 buyers into the DVD's credits and in terms of footage aswell. We're also having the DVD replicated in the USA, so all shipments and distribution will happen from there. The DVD can be shipped to every country, on absolute international scale, except for Somalia. If you're from Somalia and you want to know why, find Jason's thread on the Forum and ask him :)

Be sure to keep an eye on the Live Counter.. next live show is the exact time of pre-orders opening, and in that Live Show we're also going to announce the winners of the compo! :) STOKEDDDDDDD. As mentioned in the DVD, there is already one "winner" of a seperate surprize.. check out the live show to see what she gets! Also make sure to check out Vlog III to see exactly what the heck I'm talking about.

Anyways, I'm off to bed.. Still a TON of work left on the DVD, and I need to get some sleep in so I can get back to it :)

Pre-orders is upon us.. BIG day ahead! Check you guys in the forums!

Hey, that was such a fun idea for a live show today...um, last night for you, I guess!
Seriously, hope you keep having a great time with all of this, while staying focused, of course. :) Try to get enough sleep or you\'ll get sick or something. :)

I already posted on ur Youtube page thingy but I just have to say this: YOU OWN WAY TO MUCH.

You really inspired me to go n drum, i ordered an electric drumkit ( Roland TD-4 ) because of you! My dad is a professional drummer ( its his job ) and he always encouraged me to drum, but I never did. After I saw your videos I was sure about one thing; I also want to be as good n cool as you! COBUS :D

DVD Purchased! I live in the UK, so it was going to be 3am for me when it was released, so decided to do it first thing in the morning today. But I only just remembered and its 1pm!! d'oh :( I would image there have been many more than 200 buyers before me lol.

Can't wait though :D

Hey Cobus,

I'd like to start off on a good note of saying I love all of your Vlog's and covers, and I can't wait for your DVD. On a darker note though, I have to say I lost a little respect for you in this video. The swearing just put me off a bit, I was surprised when I heard you swear the first time, then you did it two more times.

I'm not a fan of Christian's swearing, the Bible definitely talks about that. I still love all of your videos though... keep up the great work! Can't wait to see more!

dude nice timing with the vlog i was about to go to be....i am 100% sure im gonna e in the credits :).......i hope :) but im really disapointed i cant keep up with the live shows because of school and the shows are so early....but i look em up in the archives :) and im maaaaajorly disapointed that i didnt come up with something for the contest....literaly like all my sticks are broken.....kinda sad really lol....i was kinda counting on your sticks for new ones...but i dont have a camera and i didnt have time to come up with something for the contest....and now i find out i coulda been ON the DVD :( dam.....well at least im getting on those credits :) and i didnt know ud give a prize for pronouncing ur name....i can pronounce it except for the tounge roll lol....well even tho i cant make the live shows (making the one tomorrow no matter what!) and i didnt come up with something for the compo....you still have the support of this drummer (who is a major fan by the way) and im definetly looking forward to the DVD.....im glad i got your twitter updates on my phone or i wouldnt of know about vlog # 3 :) wo this is a long comment lol but yea i cant wait for tomorrows live show....o and by the way....im on the paper...wat happened to it? lol but hey if you read this do you think you can say something about it on the live show so i know you read it? thanks.....wellllllll i better stop typing lol....well cobus potgieter your wicked cool....ready for the DVD....BOOYA! .......did i forget a word? cobus potgieter, wicked cool, booya.......well idk lol ....well see you at the live show....thanks for being my biggest inspiration....PEACE! :)

it's 1:30am here in eastern hemisphere and there is less than 21 hr for the pre-release. i\'ve been looking forward to this day for a long time and i\'ll be peed off if i don\'t make to be the first 200 and not sure why i would want the dvd as i have nothing to do with drumming although i\'ve always hoped i could drum like that yet never even bothered to play drums. i guess i\'m just a fan of his style and most of the songs Cobus covers especially AVA where i\'m still hoping one day we\'ll see another AVA cover and that being Heaven. Anyway, it\'s time for bed but for what it\'s worth, good luck on your pre-release and a big turn around of purchases come because it\'s totally deserved because you\'re talented and you worked hard for it and it\'s time to reap the rewards. Remember: \"you reap what you sow\"
