July 24: WHATTT a week!

Honestly, struggling to formulate a response to all that has happened the past week.. from receiving 110,000 views in one DAY, to Fightstar posting my video on their MySpace page, to the forum being too active for me to be able to keep up.. CRAZY! The support just keep growing; JUST when I think I might be able to not get so blown away every time, you guys just take it a step up and totally catch me off-gaurd :)

The White Series release is going smoothly, have NEVER had a response to ANY of my videos as the Kelly Clarkson video caused! :) HUGE! I'm struggling to keep up with the comments and emails caused by the new releases, but it's WAY too much fun to be able to complain.

Other than the new releases, things are coming along switfly for the DVD. We're shooting in a while, and I feel a strange combination of excitement and stress. my personal rehearsals start on Monday.. helllooooo blisters! :) Can't WAIT though, I haven't had the chance to really PRACTICE since I graduated from school in 2004.. so it's been a long time. I mean I've never stopped playing, but PRACTICE is something entirely different. One thing I am VERY much hoping to get down before the recording starts is the heel-toe technique. ALMOST got the stamina going :) Honestly though, the fact that I'm still learning SO much every day, is something that will make the instructional part of the DVD something VERY different than what you guys have seen before. I dont see it as a teacher-to-student thing, in my head it's very much a student-to-student vibe. Which I LOVE. stoked.

I also have to mention, some of the songs you guys have submitted to the cobuspotgieter/band page are AWESOME, like very very VERY good :) I already know of a few songs that will definitely make it onto the DVD, sooo stoked that you guys took to this so passionately aswell. I'll make some the chosen songs public on the forum sometime within the next week or two, so you guys can see who will be featuring on the DVD :) Also, some of you have been submitting songs, but because the upload didn't finish, I can't download and listen to them. I think some of you might be thrown off by the fact that there is no progress bar. Just browse to the song, select it, and choose upload; then wait until it has been uploaded. To be safe, I would just leave the window open for quite a while. Cause it's WAY frustrating to see your songs there but not being able to listen to them.

Also don’t forget to check the up for grabs section as SMG will be releasing something for your iPhone (if you have one)in this next week 

Anyways, It seems I have started ranting.. will cut this one short, and how about seeing you guys

in the forums?

Once again.. "thank you" doesn't quite cut it. I know I have the habit of becoming all soppy and corny way too often, but it's so friggin awesome to have everybody be a part of this epic journey; I'm WAY excited to see where it leads us all.
