Can i just start off by saying how unbelievably SICK the site looks, Niklas did an AMAZING job. Everytime I browse through your comments I realise how insanely well the site was programmed and designed. Niklas, MAJOR respect.

I sent the DVD with all the High Quality videos and mp3s to the UK today for upload, so new video releases will be paused until it reaches Mr Richard Barker to be uploaded.. Just in! Three brand new videos from the Hybrid Series have been released! Check them out under the Videos section or go to youtube and visit Cobus profile page!

To celebrate the new and upcoming Hybrid Series, Cobus and I decided to upgrade the website with a lot of new cool features. We concentrated on adding more functionality for the videos and now you are able to score, comment and add videos as your favorite! Top lists are generated based on your scoring and recent comments are shown on the front page. Navigation around the site has been updated with better menus and nicer URLs. And oh, if you haven’t notice we have a completely new design! The sweet video-scroller thingy is still here though!

Before I forget the site is best viewed in the latest version of Firefox so if you don’t have it, you should get it. I guess both me and Cobus are very excited about this new release and I would love comments and suggestions about the site. My email is nikl...

Even though it would've been very apt, unfortunately i dont have access to a drumroll..

the new set of video's will be called the HYBRID Series :)

the reason for this (firstly) is that i've incorporated my electronic drumkit with the acoustics, these trigger pads allow me to trigger whatever sounds i wish while playing on conventional acousitc drums.. which, needless to say, is pretty insane. The result is a "hybrid" between acoustics and electronics, and is also really really REALLY fun ;) and i very much hope it translates honestly to video. Secondly, i chose it because it also just sounds so damn cool, haha ;)

My name is Niklas and, as Cobus said, I'm the webdesigner and programmer on this website. I noticed a few problems on the site yesterday and I even got a email about it (which was superb) and now it should be fixed. The error was on the video section where you only were able to view one video. If you find any errors don't hesitate to contact me on niklas@cobuspotgieter.com and I will do my best to fix the bug. You might even have Ideas on how to expand the site? Send an email to me.

I hope you enjoy the current content on the site. The DVD quality videos and Studio Quality Audio recordings are superb! This is Cobus, would just like to say welcome to the site!

We (the webmaster Niklas, and I) have been working on this site for a while (and by 'working' I mean Niklas does absolutely everything and I try to give some annoying pointers here and there..) but please keep in mind, it is still a work in progress, we'll always try to improve the site and add the things you guys want.

At the moment we have quite a bit of info on here, VERY detailed descriptions of all the equipment I use, aswell as a FAQ for all the questions I so very very regularly receive :) A forum and community project is underway, depending on the amount of attention the site receives.

The main attraction, in my opinion, is the DVD Quality Video and the Studio Quality Audio downloads, so please feel free to check those out! The audio files are encoded in standard mp3 compression, so think you will have no trouble with that. The videos are encoded in Xvid compression, if you h...
