hey! :)hope everybody had an awesome week! we have the mid-year holiday in SA at the moment, so that's way cool, having a ton of fun chilling with my friends and getting some practice time in behind the kit :)
Before i get too happy and excited again, the big news the past week has obviously been that of Michael Jackson's untimely death. all tasteless jokes and lack of tact aside, the death of ANY human being should be met with respect; i think. it really got me upset to hear the jokes people were making only moments after the news struck. i take myself to have a healthy sense of humour, but i can't help but feel sick to my stomach at jokes being made about somebody who just lost his life.

MJ might have done some questionable stuff in his life (don't we all?) and remembering him and judging him because of the wrong stuff he did is a fate i dont wish upon ANY person.
that said, as a musician it is irrefutable what a permanent impact he made on the world-wide music industry; no sane person can disagree with that. in the light of this impact, one which directly and indirectly influenced me to a huge extent aswell (show me a drummer who doesnt enjoy playing along to some "Black or White"..) i have decided to record a Michael Jackson Tribute Series. this new series, although being recorded after the White Series (which is also still on the way) will be released on Thursday. i had an unbelievable amount of fun recording the four songs i chose, and i look very much forward to releasing the new series and paying my respects to an awesome musician. the new website is also still underway and looking aaaawesome as heck, can NOT wait to hear what you think! anyways, i hope you guys are doing well, thanks for reading! much love.
