I dig you guys very merch.

A while back Leigh (who helps out with the mailing of the DVD's and shirt and hoddies and stuff, and is also an all-round epic human being) let me know that we still have some VERY few items of clothing left for sale, since many many people have been asking about it. Posting the little notice on Facebook about the left-over merch made me think about it all again, because it feels like I don't really think about that side of my "career" as much.

To be honest, I am ALWAYS nervous posting stuff like that, that's why I very very rarely do it, especially on Facebook and to 170,000+ people. I think the main reason why I don't like posting that stuff is because I am overly-sensitive to people possibly thinking I'm in this for the cash. Which isn't the case, at all or even close :) It has ALWAYS been this struggle inside me, because I need to eat and I need to have a roof over my head, but I absolutely HATE "asking" for money.

So, I just want to say that I appreciate your support. And if you buy a shirt or a hoodie or a DVD or a lesson from the website, then I appreciate that very very VERY much also. And if you don't buy any merch.. that's totally ok too, I still dig you. I never want this to be a guilt trip and I never want this to be all business. I love music and sincerity and passion with all my heart and I have a feeling you do too, that's why you're here.

So THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE SUPPORT, whether with youtube views, or prayers, or spreading the word, or with real-world money that help me pay my rent and buy food. It means way more to me that I can ever express in a few paragraphs of text.

Much love! ~c

Store | Downloading Lessons

Hello,

Ok so some of you that have bought lessons from the store have had 'issues' downloading them once you have paid. So here a a few tips and things to keep in mind, and let me say at the start if you heed this advice you should not have a problem at all in downloading purchases from the store.

Things to remember:

1. If you buy multiple downloads from the store you will be emailed a different link for each one

2. Each link that is sent to you only works for three (3) attempts. That means when you click/paste the link in your browser for the 4th time It will not work and will need to be reset (which will require time, cos its not as easy as it sounds)

3. You cannot download directly to your iPod, iPhone or iPad. This may sound dumb, but some people have tried this.

4. Download to your PC or Mac, then you can transfer the files to whatever you want thereafter. (If you gonna put in on your Apple whatever then iTunes is what you will have to use)

5. Please click 'save' if prompted.

6. If you buy a bundle (i.e general lessons pack, and not just one lesson from the pack) the file will be zipped.

7. Use winRAR or the equivalent program to unzip the file. (its just like digital unboxing)

8. Browsers that we strongly recommend using are; Google Chrome & Firefox. Why anyone still uses IE is beyond us, but hey its your choice ;)

9. Depending on which lesson/s you are buying the file sizes will be BIG so this will take time to download, so go make a pot roast or go tan on the beach or do whatever you can do to pass time easily, maybe play a game in the games section. If you have a slower connection be AWARE! (For example all the HD packs combined currently total about 1.4 gigs)

10. If you have problems contact us via the 'store' contact BUT make sure you have read and understood all this first.

11. Generally speaking, if you contact us over a weekend you may not get an immediate response, but dont worry we always are back at work on Mondays :)

12. Have fun!

If you found this usefull or have a question post your comments below and I will get to them faster than the speed of light (unless I am not at my desk or its the weekend)

bye for now!

DVD Madness

DVD Madness!!!!!!
I'm typing this from my practice room :) Sitting right next to my acoustic kit (not a lot of space in here..) where I have been rehearsing the past few days, the coming week will also be full of practice. I am STOOOOKED for the recording! And granted, there are a bit more nerves at work in comparison with a YouTube Series recording..

Sorry if I haven't been as active on the forum as usual, and if I've been a bit slow with replies.. Practicing and getting the last few stuff organised for the DVD has been a full-time job. After the shoot (when I'm busy with post-production) I'll definitely be much more active, especially when I'm searching for excuses to take some breaks between work ;)

As you can see though, it's hard for me to think and speak about anything else besides the DVD, haha, for obvious reasons :) Aaaah I almost forgot to mention.. I was on a game drive yesterday, one of my friends had his 21st birthday party and some friends went to a game farm. CRAAAZY amounts of fun, we got wickedly close to some lions, leopards, even tigers (which aren't usually found in South Africa..) so it was aaaaaawesome. Just thought I'd throw that in there for the people who think we have lions and elephants walking around in our backyards here in SA ;)

Aaaaanyway, back to work for me. At the moment I'm planning exactly what to say and how to approach the lessons on the DVD, if I don’t have a general guideline of what I want to say, It'll be a 2-hour DVD of me speaking about what the first lesson was supposed to be. Seriously. I don’t shut up.

Hope you guys have an awesome week, please hold your thumbs for a cool shoot and that everything goes down smoothly..

Speak soon! BOOYA! :)
